Simon-Kaloi Engineering, Ltd. (SKE), is a small business founded by Richard A. Simon and Dennis M. Kaloi in 1993. The company is a California Corporation. SKE manufactures over a dozen different products that include integrated sound, lighting and motion controllers, digital message repeaters, sound effect simulators, animatronic controllers, and the Simon Systems line of professional audio products. SKE Product customers include the largest Worldwide Themepark Company, Universal Themeparks, Six Flags, Tejix, Zamperla, Holovis, Sally Corporation, VP Productions, Stew Leonards, Knott's, Paramount Parks and numerous other amusement parks, attractions, point-of-sale, live-fire training, and other application customers. The Simon Systems Professional Audio Products have been used in major recording studios and top-tier recording artists since the 1980s. Famed venues include, Skywalker Ranch, The Record Plant, the Hollywood Bowl and Los Angeles's Premier Downtown Concert Hall.

SKE also offers electronic hardware, software, and firmware design services. Design services cover virtually all aspects of electronics, including analog and digital circuitry, audio and video applications, laser and other various controllers, printed circuit board design, and packaging and manufacturing. SKE expertise also includes microprocessor, micro-controller, DSP, FPGA, network, and computer hardware design. Software capabilities include programming languages such as assembly, C, FPGA, DSP, and Visual Basic. SKE has successfully designed and built several hi-technology devices from cradle to grave in broad-ranging fields such as medical, military, defense, commercial, and industrial applications. SKE design service customers include Lockheed Martin, Teledyne (formerly Rockwell) Scientific, NASA, Sally Corporation, Optical Physics/Voyager Space, Florite International, Kavlico Corporation, The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, and General Dynamics.

The company's principals are the chief engineers. Mr. Simon received his BSEE from the University of Michigan in 1979, and has worked for Ford Motor Company, Rockwell International, and is now the CFO and a Senior Engineer at SKE. Mr. Kaloi received his BSEE from the University of California at Northridge in 1980, and has worked for Rockwell International, ISC Aerospace, and is currently the President and CTO at SKE. With over 80 years of combined engineering experience, Messrs. Simon and Kaloi have worked on numerous defense and aerospace programs which include: Space Shuttle Main Engine Controller Electronics, Shuttle Orbiter Simulator Simulation (CADS II), Shuttle Interface Adapter (SIA), Space Station Electronics, National Aerospace Plane, Peacekeeper Missile, Kinetic Weapons Programs, Hawk Laser & TV Guided Missile Electronics, and Laser/Optics Signal Processing Electronics, Laser and Deformable Mirror Controllers. Messrs. Simon and Kaloi hold two United States Patents.
