Simon-Kaloi Engineering’s consulting services cover virtually all aspects of electronics, including hardware circuit design and analysis, printed circuit board design, packaging, manufacturing, and software design.  SKE can take your project from concept to full-scale production.  The company principals are the chief consultants.


Mr. Simon received his BSEE from the University of Michigan in 1979.  Since then he has worked for Ford Motor Company, Rockwell International, and SKE.  With over 27 years engineering of experience, he has worked on several commercial and aerospace programs which include: Space Shuttle Main Engine Controller Electronics, Space Station Electronics, National Aerospace Plane, Peacekeeper Missile, Kinetic Weapons Programs, and Laser/Optics Signal Processing Electronics.  He was the principal designer of the Simulation Interface Adapter (SIA), that electronically simulates all sensors, actuators, and electrical parameters that interface to the Space Shuttle Main Engine Controller.  He is an analog circuit specialist, with digital experience in C-MOS, TTL, and microprocessor and micro-controller circuit design.  He also has experience in software programming in Assembly, BASIC and C Programming Languages.


Mr. Kaloi received his BSEE from the University of California at Northridge in 1980.  Since then he has worked for Rockwell International, ISC Aerospace and SKE.  With over 26 years of engineering experience, he has worked on several commercial and aerospace programs, which include: Space Shuttle Main Engine Controller Electronics, Advanced Controller R & D, Peacekeeper Missile, Space Station Electronics, and was Project Manager for the Hawk Laser & TV Guided Missile Electronics.  He was the principal designer of the Space Shuttle Orbiter Simulator (CADS II) that simulated Space Shuttle Main Engine control functions.  He is a digital circuit and computer architecture specialist with extensive experience in C-MOS, TTL, and microprocessor and micro-controller circuit design as well as software programming.  He also has a strong analog and controls background.  Mr. Kaloi can program IBM and compatibles as well as Macintosh computers, and is fluent in Assembly, Fortran, Pascal, C, and BASIC languages.


Messrs. Simon and Kaloi have also worked on hi-technology projects for companies such as Sally Corporation, Communications Manufacturing Company, Kavlico Corporation, and Rockwell (now Teledyne) Scientific. Messrs. Simon and Kaloi hold two United States Patents.  SKE is a member of the Motorola (now Freescale) and Apex Micro-technology Consultant Groups.  SKE has been the recipient of several awards including awards from NASA, Rockwell Scientific, and IAAPA.   Take a look at some of the pictures of projects performed by Messrs.
